Tony lived a full life until, in later years, he developed Parkinson's disease with dementia and also cancer as well as heart problems. He coped with this with the help of his consultant Dr Faluyi, Clatterbridge nurses , Curzon Rd district nurses and St Marks Medical Centre and Pharmacy. Finally, he could cope no longer and he died from pneumonia in Southport hospital. We were together at the end ,as we had been for 56 years.
