Geno sadly passed away on Sunday 17th August 2025 aged 75 years. He was the best husband, dad and grandad we could ever have wished for and we would love to invite anyone who knew Geno to come and help us celebrate his life.
We would also love to hear any stories you have about Geno as he was such a character, if you could email them to lisadifab@hotmail.com or send a message to 07969975788 that would be appreciated. The kind messages we have had in recent days and knowing how much he was loved by so many people has really helped us smile and bought us comfort. We have lost count of how many messages have included the word legend in them.
Please feel free to wear anything you like to the funeral, there is no need to wear black - this is very much a celebration of Geno's life and the lovable, infectious character he was.
Geno was cared for by the Isobel Hospice community nurses in his last week and we can't thank them enough for the loving care they gave him and us during the darkest hours.
Being a charitable, independent organisation, which only receives some statutory funding for providing NHS services, Isobel Hospice relies heavily on donations. We would be extremely grateful for any donations.
