Robert Boulton, known to everyone as 'Bob' (or Grumps to the grand children).
Bob lived life to the full, despite living with bowel cancer for over a decade. The last couple of months had been very difficult, but he faced them full on and with his characteristic smile and zest for life. He was so happy to have returned last month, from living in Cornwall back to Berkshire to be among his family and old friends; your friendships brought him joy and comfort.
We will be celebrating Bob's life at St Lawrence's Church in Hungerford on the 14th May. Please allow plenty of time to travel and park. The A4 is closed at Speen and there is a long diversion. Car Parks are a 5-10 minute walk from the Church and it is also market day.
Hungerford is on the main railway line, with good links both to London and the West Country.
DRESS CODE - Please note Bob especially requested that people wear bright, happy clothes, preferably tropical shirts with shorts and summery frocks! Lets hope the sun will be shining!
We hope you will join us afterwards to raise a glass or two and have some food at Hungerford RFC Clubhouse, Triangle Field, Priory Rd, Hungerford RG17 0AP (almost opposite the John O’ Gaunt School c. 1.2 Miles away from the Church, plenty of parking)
