In Loving memory of Joan Simpson.
Joan passed away in her sleep on 18th August 2024.
She was a proud wife, mother,grandparent and great-grandparent, who was widely known as "Wrinkly" as she always felt she was "too young to be a Grandma!"
The family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support during this difficult time and in the 16 months since the passing of Paul (Joan's husband of over 57 years).
A funeral service will be held at Nene Valley Crematorium, Wellingborough, NN8 2NX, on the 17th September at 11am. A reception with refreshments will follow at The Stags Head, 1 High street, Gt Doddington, Wellingborough,NN29 7TQ.
We would like to say that people are not expected to wear black clothes-the close family won't be- but we know some people would be uncomfortable not doing so. Please wear what you are comfortable in or something you think Joan would have appreciated.
