We are sad to announce the passing of Frank Fyles, who left us on 18th August 2026, aged 87 years. Frank will be very dearly missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him throughout his life.
A service in remembrance of Frank will be held at Woking Crematorium on Thursday 10th September at 3pm, to which all are welcome to attend. We would like everyone to feel comfortable, so smart casual dress code is encouraged, but please remain respectful.
Following the service, we'd love you to join us at Chobham Club to share memories of Frank, raise a glass in his honour, and celebrate his life. It was a place he loved, especially in his later years and, as he would have wanted, the first drink is on him. For parking, we are hopeful that guests will be able to make use of the parking facilites next door at Chobham Rugby Club.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to the RSPB, a charity that was very close to Frank’s heart. His daughter Amelia will be running the Great North Run on Sunday 13th September in his memory, raising funds for the RSPB, which is dedicated to protecting birds, wildlife and their habitats.
