Ed Sampson Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday 18th September 2025 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 89.
The funeral service will be held in the church where Ed spent many happy years, worshipping, singing in the choir and undertaking many other duties and activities.
Friday 24th October at 11am in St James Church, Finchampstead, RG40 4LU. Everyone is welcome at the church and afterwards for refreshments in the church centre. There will be a short committal service at Easthampstead Park Crematorium at 12.30, which is expected to be only family and close friends.

Family flowers only please but donations if desired in Ed’s name will be split between the British Heart Foundation and the Helen Taylor Churchyard Trust who manage the new churchyard which bears Ed’s name.
Ed will be truly loved and missed by all his family and friends.
