It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald ‘Gerry’ Pike, who died peacefully on 19th March 2025, aged 80.
Gerry was a man of simple pleasures — most notably his enduring love for motorbikes, watching darts, and his beloved three-wheeler, in which he could often be seen driving around with a smile on his face.
A devoted husband, Gerry was a widower who never stopped cherishing the memory of his beloved wife. Their bond was a deep and lasting one, and his love for her remained a guiding light throughout his life.
He was a proud father to three children, and a doting grandfather to four grandchildren, all of whom will miss him more than words can say. His warmth, humour, and quiet strength left a lasting mark on everyone lucky enough to know him.
The funeral service will be held on 22nd April 2025, 12:00 at Taunton Crematorium. In accordance with Gerry’s and the family’s wishes, no flowers please. Donations, if desired, can be made to the British Heart Foundation in his memory.
Gerry will be remembered always with love & laughter.
