John William Parker passed away peacefully at home with his wife Helen by his side on Friday 19th of April 2024.
Adventurer, sailor, long-distance hiker, gardener, fisherman, craftsman, expert on the natural world, avid reader, maker of the best wine, enthusiastic drinker of beer; adored husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. His warmth, humour, stoicism, humility and kindness lasted until the end. John and his dog Rose, and Jess before her, were known to so many people around Godalming and Amberley and far beyond. He was very much loved and is much missed.
