David Alan Grapes passed away peacefully at home on 19th May 2026.
David was a much loved Father to Ali and Becky, Stepfather to Harry, Father in law and Grandfather. He lived a full and remarkable life and will be remembered for his kindness, warmth and strong sense of humour. He will be dearly missed by all family and friends.
Funeral Service
The funeral service will take place at 12 noon on Thursday 18th June at St Peter’s Church, Cringleford. All are welcome to join the family afterwards at 10 Keswick Road, Cringleford, NR4 6UG. David was a keen advocate of the need for farmers to innovate and make progress throughout their careers.
The RNAA and the Royal Norfolk Show were an important part of David's life and commitment to farming.
