It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan McGlynn. Joan died peacefully at Milton Keynes Hospital on Tuesday 19th May, surrounded by her beloved family.
A much‑loved Mother, Sister, Nanny, and friend, whose kindness, independence, and sense of humour will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Joan was a truly special woman. Cheeky, independent, strong‑willed, and full of warmth. She had a wonderful sense of humour and a zest for life that touched everyone who knew her. She was always busy — whether spending time with family and friends, pursuing her many interests, or planning her next adventure.
Joan will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Everyone who knew Joan is welcome to attend the Mass, the Crematorium service, or both. There will be refreshments afterwards at Milton Keynes Irish Centre. Please feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in — colours are very welcome.
