Obituary: Constance Margaret Falkus
16th April 1935 – 19th June 2025
Constance Margaret Falkus “Connie” passed away peacefully on 19th June 2025, aged 90. Born in Poplar, East London, she spent most of her married life in Woodford Green, Essex, before settling in Cornwall in her later years.
Constance worked as a school secretary in North London and later for Tower Hamlets in East London. She was known for her love of gardening, classical and opera music, and her deep devotion to family.
She is survived by her three children—Margaret, Geoffrey, and Peter—eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Penmount Crematorium, Truro, at 11.30am on Wednesday 30th July. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Autistic Society.
Constance will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew her.
