It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ann Thomas, who left us at the age of 65 years on Friday 19th June 2026 after a brave battle with cancer. Ann will be remembered for her strength, her devotion to those around her, and the many lives she touched with her warmth and kindness.
Ann's life was rich with love, laughter, and cherished memories that will remain in our hearts forever.
Wife to Richard, mother to Marianne, sister to Christine, and beloved by all her family. Her legacy lives on through her loved ones and friends.
The service will take place on Wednesday 22nd July 2026 at 11:30 am at St Basil's Church, Bassaleg followed by a committal service at the Abercarn Cemetery. The family invites attendees for light refreshments after the service at Newport Fugitives Athletic Club.
Family flowers only; donations in lieu can be made to St David's Hospice Care, an act of kindness in Ann's memory.
