It is with great sadness that we announce Alan passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on 19th July 2026, aged 80 years.
A treasured Dad to his two daughters Clare and Helen and his son in law, Glenn. He will be loved and remembered always.
Reunited once again with his beloved wife, Liz. Remaining cheeky to the end, Alan will be missed by many.
Alan's funeral will take place on Wednesday 5th August at 2.30pm, at Haltemprice Crematorium.
There will be no formal wake as such, but Clare & Helen are going to raise a glass to Alan afterwards, next door at the Mecure Grange Park Hotel - anyone is welcome to join them.
Family flowers only please, however donations will be gratefully received in aid of Age UK who provided Alan with years of befriending calls, that he loved deeply.
