Jill was such a special person. She was much loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was hard-working, determined, yet fun-loving, very community minded and she dedicated much of her life to education.
During her 24 years as Adult Education Principal she oversaw a huge expansion in student numbers and classes, making Falmouth the largest centre in Cornwall.
She broke new ground as the first female President of the Falmouth Rotary Club and was the first woman to hold such a position in any Rotary Club in Cornwall.
But, above all, she was very devoted to her family and nothing was too much trouble. We miss her dearly.
