It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeremy Jon Dickinson (Jez), a devoted husband to Allie and a proud, much-loved dad to Jake and Reece, who passed away on Monday, 20 April at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
Jez was truly one of a kind – strong, stubborn, and full of character. He had a sharp sense of humour, a big heart, and was fiercely loyal to the people he loved. He showed up when it mattered and took pride in doing things properly. More than anything, he was a family man, and his boys meant the world to him.
He loved his music (even if not everyone else did), owned far too many pairs of Converse, and never missed a chance to support Manchester United – much to the delight of his late father, Stan, and the disgust of his four blue-nosed brothers, Tim, Steve, Howard, and Scott.
Jez’s funeral will be held at Blacon Crematorium on Tuesday, 12 May at 2 pm. The funeral procession will be led by his beloved Triumph Tiger, ridden by his very good friend, Nick Sands.
