Barry very sadly passed away on December 20th 2025 aged 92 at The Gables Rest Home in Kidderminster. Reunited with his beloved Beryl. Much loved Dad of Diana, father-in-law of Tony, a cherished grandad, great grandad and great great grandad, loved and missed by all his family, friends and staff at The Gables.
A service to celebrate his life and bid him farewell, will be held as detailed below, on Thursday January 15th 2026 at 12 noon at St. Edmunds Church, Kessingland. Following the church service, a private committal service for immediate family only, will take place in the churchyard, where Barry will be laid to rest with his beloved Beryl. Everyone else is kindly requested to head on to the reception at The Hotel Victoria, Kirkley Cliff Road, Lowestoft NR33 0BZ and the family will join you shortly.
There is a book of condolence which will be available to write in both at the church and back at The Hotel Victoria. If you are unable to attend the reception, please leave your entry in the book at the church before you leave.
Flowers are welcome and should be sent directly to the funeral home by 9:30am on the day of the service. Should you wish to order any flowers, the family tributes are coming from Flora & Fern at www.floraandfernlowestoft.co.uk
