David Eslinger sadly passed away 21st January 2026 at Mountbatten Hospice at the age of 63. He was surrounded by his family.
David had proposed to his long term (long suffering) and much loved partner, Alison, 19 January and they intended to marry 23 January. Unfortuantly he passed away two days before.
David was a wonderer, a chatter and a pub man who would do anything for anyone. He was an amazing Dad, partner, brother and son who is greatly missed by us all.
All who knew and loved David are welcome to attend the funeral and the wake. We would love for everyone to share their memories of him.
Dresscode: smart casual.
Suits or jeans are fine, whatever you feel comfortable in. You do not need to wear black.
Please do not send flowers, David would say it's a waste of money! If you would like make a donation to Mountbatten Hospice, who took amazing care of him his last few weeks, please use the donation links. There will also be a collection on the day of the service.
