Eileen Richardson died suddenly at home on 21st January, 2026, aged 78.
Wife of the late Joseph, Mum of Craig and David, Mother in law of Claire, Grandma of Luke, Sister of Brenda, Auntie to Joanne, Alexandra and Ashleigh, Great-Auntie to Jessica, Asakir, Ethan, Zach, Betsy, Sonny and Martha.
Also "Auntie Eileen" to many from Brownhill Playgroup.
Much loved by all her family and friends, she will be greatly missed.
A service to celebrate the life of Eileen will be held at North Blackburn United Reformed Church (Trinity) on Monday 9th February, 11:30 am, followed by a commital service at Blackburn Crematorium for Family and close friends.
Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Eileen for the East Lancashire Hospice. A donation box will be available as you leave the church. Alternatively, online donations can be made by clicking "Make a Donation" on this page. Thank you.
