The family of Christine sadly announce she passed away peacefully on the morning of 21st March 2026, aged 83 years at Peterborough City Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. She will be remembered by her son Vincent, daughter Dominique, two grandchildren, Isabelle and Charlotte along with her wider family and friends.
Christine was a lifelong supporter of the Scouting movement as a Cub Scout leader in her earlier years in London right through to again later in Watford and Peterborough. She loved performing in the Gang Show and was especially proud when both her daughter and granddaughters carried on the tradition of helping out behind the scenes and also performing in the Gang Show.
Chistine was a passionate genealogist who spent decades uncovering the fascinating stories of our ancestors. She was never happier than when cracking through a difficult brick wall, tracing a long lost cousin, or deciphering an old census record.
Christine leaves behind a legacy that stretches far beyond her immediate family, having left behind a meticulously documented archive of family history that will be cherished by future generations.
Family meant so much to Christine, whether it was phone call to relatives far away or spending time with family closer to home.
Christine wishes donations to PKD Charity (Polycystic Kidney Disease) instead of flowers so they can continue their great work of researching this disease and supporting families affected by it.
All are welcome to join the family to celebrate Christine's life.
