Lionel Edgar Maurice Hicks
Peacefully passed away at home on the 21st August 2026, aged 86 years of Morley formerly Congleton, was the devoted husband of the late Elizabeth (Liz), very dear Brother of Gerald, fond Brother-in-law of Marilyn, loving Father of Emma & Sarah, very dear Father-in-law of Tim & Chris, a much loved and devoted Grandpa of Laura, Freya, Harry, Henry, Edward & Tom and treasured Great Grandpa of Noah & Jesse. Also a dear Uncle and very special friend to many.
A service to celebrate Lionel's life will be held at 10:30am on Thursday 17th September at St Mary's Church, Astbury, followed by interment at Astbury Churchyard. Family and friends wishing to attend, please meet at the Church.
Family flowers only, donations if desired to East Cheshire Hospice in memory of Lionel.
