We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved John McKenna. John was a devoted husband to Marilyn, father to John, Janette and Colleen, grandfather and brother, and he has now been reunited with his dear eldest daughter, Sharon.
John passed away peacefully on 21st October at East Lancashire Hospice, in the same way he lived his life, with his cherished wife by his side.
John will be laid to rest at a ceremony at Accrington Crematorium on Monday 9th November 2026 at 11am, followed by a celebration of his life at The Victoria, Accrington.
In lieu of flowers, Marilyn and family ask that anyone who is able, make a donation in John’s name to East Lancashire Hospice.
