JAMES RONALD ILES (Jim)
Jim passed away peacefully on 22nd January 2025, aged 87 years
Jim had a wonderful life, and words feel inadequate when trying to express what he meant to his family. He married Thelma and they enjoyed over 62 years together. They had 2 daughters Angela and Lesley. Jim was a gentle, happy man who enjoyed many holidays in Cornwall and around the world. He had many hobbies including wine making, gardening, listening to music and loved dancing.
Jim's love of his family was plain to see, he had a wicked sense of humour too. He taught us that family is everything and he loved nothing more than to be surrounded by those he loved.
Alzheimer's took so much away from him, and us. Until recently he was still enjoying listening to music, singing and still welcomed us with a smile. We are therefore asking for donations towards the research of this terrible disease. Any amount would be gratefully received.
Jim will be greatly missed by his whole family and friends forever.
