Peter Woolgar passed away on the 22nd of April 2026 at Maple House Nursing Home following a short illness. Peter was the son of Albert and Dorothy Woolgar, the younger brother of Toni Howroyd (née Woolgar) who all predeceased him, and the Uncle of Richard and Peter.
Peter moved to Farnborough from Welwyn Garden City when he was nine years old. He went to Cove Secondary School. Peter worked for Norman Magnetics and Frimley Park Hospital.
Peter was a keen football fan supporting Tottenham Hotspur all his life.
Peter loved military history and spent his retirement touring famous battlefields including Waterloo, Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift.
