We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Josephine 'Josie' Buckwell, who passed away peacefully surrounded by family on 22nd May 2025, aged 80 years.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend a service to celebrate Josie's life that will take place on Wednesday 2nd July 2025 at 12:30pm at Woodvale Crematorium. We would also like to welcome you to join us for refreshments afterwards at The Swan Pub at Falmer.
We would ask that you wear some purple/pink to the service to remember Josie by, as Josie loved her garden and purple was Josie's favourite colour.
Immediate family flowers only please. If wanting to make a donation in Josie's memory these can be made to Raystede Animal Sanctuary which is something that Josie would have wanted, via the donation link or alternatively via bank transfer.
