In Loving Memory of Catherine (Cathy) Comrie
Very peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Catherine (Cathy) passed away at Crieff Community Hospital on Saturday 22nd August 2026, aged 87 years.
Beloved wife of Iain, much-loved mum of John, Caroline, Charles and Cathleen, a cherished mother-in-law, granny, step-mum to Robbie and Gavin and families, sister, aunt and friend to many.
Cathy was a woman who never really met a stranger.
She will be remembered for her fun, her mischief, her warmth and, above all, her kindness. She had a wonderful ability to make friends wherever she went. whether on holiday anywhere in the world or simply at home. A former RN Workshops employee, she made many friendships throughout her working life and continued to be remembered fondly by so many.
She leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, mischief, friendships, stories amd memories, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A very special thank you goes to the dedicated and loving team at Crieff Community Hospital who cared for Cathy so wonderfully in her final months.
Thanks also to Riggifa Home-care and Crossroads, who supported Cathy over many years and some became so much more than carers - they became lifelong friends. A special mention must go to Rose, Paula and Carlin, who shared such special bonds with Cathy and without whom life simply would not have been the same.
