Our wonderful mum Rosie died peacefully, surrounded by her children, at Sue Ryder Manorlands hospice on 22nd September.
Rosie was a loving mum, sister and grandmother, a loyal friend, a fantastic teacher, a talented performer at the piano, a great singer and a dedicated member of the church. She will be greatly missed. She was a true inspiration, and navigated the challenges of the last months of her life with her typical grace and humour. We are immensely proud of her personal qualities and professional achievements, and the positive impact she had on so many peoples' lives.
Having been a valued member of the community in Horsham for decades, she had recently moved to Yorkshire, and found a warm welcome in Burley in Wharfedale.
Rosie helped us to plan this service in celebration of her life, to be held at St Mary's in Burley, where she was a congregant. Please feel free to celebrate her in your own way but she felt that it should be a joyous and colourful occasion, without black.
We would like to display photos of Rosie during the reception, if you have any pictures of her that you would like to share, please upload them here: https://tinyurl.com/RosieHensorPhotos
We would like to create a word cloud to display at the reception, if you would like to contribute please send us three words you would associate with her.
