Anne Kirby 89, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, at the Royal Blackburn Hospital. She had lived in Hyndburn her whole life. Born on April 27, 1936, in Accrington, Anne lived a full and vibrant life until her sudden passing. Whilst at Accrington Grammar School for Girls, Anne was a keen student and enjoyed Home Economics. Throughout her working life Anne was a secretary until retiring from her most recent position at FPW Axles in Huncoat. She was a member of the Regnal League and a regular attendee and member at Cambridge St. Methodist Church. Anne enjoyed walking, dancing, holidays and solving word and jigsaw puzzles. Anne was wife to her late husband David and more recently partner to Ray. She was mother to Gary and the late Martin, mother-in-law to Mercedes, grandma to Nick and Leah, sister-in-law to Arnold and aunt to Susan and Kenneth.
