The family sadly wish to announce the passing of Jock, of Goxhill, formerly of Wootton Dale Top Farm, on Thursday 23rd April 2026, aged 91 years.
Loving husband of the late Vera, much loved father of Andrew and Lorraine, Mary and Phil, Angie and John, Jeanette and Mark, and the late Linda Beloved grandfather and great-grandfather. Jock was a pivotal member of the farming community in and around Wootton for many years and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A private family committal will be held on Wednesday 13th May, followed by a Memorial Service for Jock at The Ropewalk, Barton-upon-Humber, 1pm, of which all are welcome to attend. No dress code applicable for mourners that wish to attend. There will be refreshments available at The Ropewalk following the Memorial Service for those that wish to join the family in continuing to share memories of Jock.
Family flowers only please, by request. Donations in lieu of flowers if so desired are for Help For Heroes an may be left at the service or sent direct to the charity.
