It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Daniel Joseph Sullivan on the 23rd July 2026. Beloved husband to Glenys, Dad to Claire and Fay, and Grandad to William, James and Akiko. Dan died peacefully at home with his wife by his side. He was a devoted husband to Glenys, with whom he shared many years of marriage built on love, loyalty and quiet companionship. He was a proud father and grandfather whose family meant everything to him.
One of the greatest joys of his working life was serving as an ambulance man. He loved his job and took great pride in helping others, bringing compassion, calmness, and dedication to people in their moments of greatest need. The values of kindness, service, and quiet courage that shaped his career remained with him throughout his life.
Despite the health challenges he faced in later years, he remained resilient and deeply appreciated the simple pleasures of home and family life. Those who knew him will remember his quiet strength, kind nature, and unwavering devotion to the people he loved.
He is deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
The family would like to thank everyone who has offered their kindness, support, and condolences during this difficult time.
Forever in our hearts.
