It is with great sadness we announce the funeral service for Mick, who passed away on 23rd September following a courageous battle with brain cancer. We'd like to invite you to join us in saying thanks for his life, and wishing him a fond farewell. 

Mick was a loving, loyal, generous and gentle man who was so beloved by his family and friends. But it's hard to summarise everything he was in just a few words. Perhaps you'll remember him better for his dry wit, his infectious laugh, his stunning focaccia, his love for Arsenal, his dogged support for the Italian rugby team, or that Rocky Horror performance he gave back in the eighties (tragically, we're told no footage remains... but there are photographs if you ask the right people). 

It is so hard to let him go, but we're grateful that after a long fight, Mick has found peace at last. And there are countless wonderful memories to remember him by.

We have requested no floral tributes (Mick wasn't really one for flowers), but if you wish to, you could make a donation in his memory to the Brain Tumour Charity using the link above. Brain cancer research is still woefully under-funded, and we'd love to think there's a future in which glioblastoma isn't quite the prognosis it was for Mick.

Lastly, we wanted to thank everyone who has sent messages and cards of condolence. These have been such a great source of comfort over the past few difficult weeks. Following the service, Mick's wake will be held at 4.15PM, at the Alexander Pope in Twickenham. If you're able to make it, we'd love to see you there. 

Rest in peace, Mick. Don't go changing.
