It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alan at Sunderland Royal Hospital on 23rd October 2026 aged 76 years, surrounded by his loving family. Dear Husband of Janet (nee Callaghan), much loved Dad to Lisa, Nicola and Michelle, devoted Grandad to Stephen, Robyn, Samuel, Eve, Kate, Ellie, Hannah, Harvey, Jacob, Sydney and the late Oliver. A much loved Great- grandad to Sienna, Isaac, Harrison and Koa, Father in law to John, Brian and Dave also a dear Brother, Uncle, Cousin and friend to many.
All flowers to Alan Duckworth Funeral Director, 200 Chester Road or Donations in lieu to Ex - Boxers Association for distrubution to associated childrens charities.
A donation box will be available on the day.
