John died peacefully at York Hospital on 24th January aged 90, with many family members by his bedside.

Funeral service on Friday 15th March at St Helen and the Holy Cross Church, Sheriff Hutton at 11am and then at Hambleton Crematorium, Maple Park Chapel, at 1pm followed by refreshments at Maple Park. Full details are below.
