Tony sadly passed away, aged 87 years, on 24th May, with his family by his side.
A fiercely devoted family man, Tony became a father figure to his four siblings at age 14, following their father's tragic early death. After completing his National Service, he moved from Westerham, Kent to Watford in 1960 in search of a job with greater opportunities in the print industry that would allow him to provide a better life for his wife Judy and to start a family.
He was committed to supporting Judy and his children, Faith and Stuart, helping them through their school years and into adulthood, both educationally and practically - always there for them. He will be greatly missed.
Following the service, family and friends are invited to the Three Hammers, Chiswell Green, St Albans for a light buffet and to raise a glass in Tony's memory.
If desired, donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to Alzheimers Research UK in memory of Tony and would be greatly appreciated.
