Eric lived life to the full. He had a successful career in the construction industry which he loved. He was renowned for his love of sport, from his early days playing rugby and cricket in Glasgow to his many years playing golf and bowls. Verulam Golf Club was at the centre of his and Ruth’s social life since they moved to St Albans, which brought many treasured friendships. He carried on bravely after the loss of his beloved Ruth, determined to make the most of life. His family brought him much joy and he was a devoted Dad and Grandad, always there to offer support and advice, he’ll also be remembered by all for his great sense of humour.
