It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Beth, known as a cherished Mum, Nanny, Nana, Great Nanny, and even Great Great Nanny, on 24th September at the age of 101.
The family has requested that donations be made to Dementia UK in her memory, a charity close to our hearts. Dementia UK provides life-changing support for those affected by dementia through their dementia specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses. These nurses offer expert, compassionate care and advice via helplines, clinics, hospitals, and community settings. They work to improve health and care systems, influence public policy, and conduct vital research, ensuring no one faces dementia alone.
Their vision is for a world where everyone affected by dementia gets the specialist support they need. Dementia UK's mission is to provide this life-changing support and campaign for better awareness and understanding across the UK.
The charity operates on the values of collaboration, compassion, ambition, and integrity—working with families, clinicians, and supporters to improve the lives of those affected by dementia every day.
Together, we can ensure that no one has to face dementia alone.
