Barbara Anne GIBSON, aged 91, of High Barnes, Sunderland, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, after a brief illness.
Born on June 23rd, 1934, in Marple, Cheshire, she was the eldest daughter of Donald & Hilda Rayner. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Alan, son Michael (Chris), daughter Yvonne (Paul) and her two grandsons, Owen & Adam, and brother Paul (Sue) Rayner. Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Angela Wood.
A service will be held at Sunderland Crematorium on Monday, November 17th at 10.30am. In lieu of flowers, Barbara requested donations to the Marie Curie charity.
