It is with great sadness to announce that my Dad Terence Dodkins passed away on Saturday 25th April 2026 at the grand age of 89. He passed away peacefully from old age and dementia which he had been living with for many years.
He will be truly missed by our family and those that knew and loved him.
His funeral will take place on Thursday 4th June @ 11am at South Essex Crematorium, Upminster.

We have chosen the Alzheimer's Society who provide practical advice and support, and are also undertaking research into treatments / cures for Dementia. It is a cruel condition where memories are lost, and in many cases they forget who their loved ones are. We were blessed that for my Dad this was not the case, and he knew us until the end. Although many other memories clearly had gone,
We will be havng family flowers, but if you would like to send flowers, please ask for them to arrive before 4:30pm on Wednesday 3rd June @ B.Wallis & Sons Funeral Directors, 221/223 Oxlow Lane, Dagenham, RM10 7YA.
After the service we would like to invite you to join us at the Huntsman and Hounds, Ockendon Road, RM14 2DN. All are welcome. This is just across the road from the Crematorium.
If you havent already done so, if you can let us know if you are joining us afterwards for the wake it would be a great help to give us an idea of numbers.
