Peacefully, on Sunday 25th August 2024 after a short stay at Ardgowan hospice surrounded by loved ones, battling an illness. Mr Alexander Dourish, also known as Alex, beloved and cherished Son of the late Alexander and Bridget Dourish. Loving brother of Stephen, Paul, Clare and the late Allan and Michael. Adored Uncle of Chloe, Ethan, Erin and very much loved great Uncle of Alaïa and Aÿla, and a very good friend to many. He will be eternally missed by all friends, family and those who knew of him. His love will grow on through his family. A service will be held in his honour at the Greenock Crematorium at 1pm on the 27th of September 2024. A reception will follow at the WaterWheel in Port Glasgow, all friends and family are respectfully invited. Donations to Ardgowan Hospice are optional and greatly appreciated, due to the amazing care and support given during Alex’s last few weeks. Family flowers only please.
