It is with great sadness that we share the news of the death of Yvonne Smith.  As you will know, Yvonne was a loving wife to her husband, Roger, and a devoted mother to Michael and grandmother to Adam and Owen.  She stayed very close to her sister Sandra throughout her life, despite the distance between them.  They are all devastated by her passing, as are the rest of her family.  Yvonne passed away peacefully on 25th November 2025 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, aged 79 years.

Yvonne loved her garden and was never happier than when spending time in it whilst pondering her next plant purchase.  She equally loved spending time with family and friends and her loss will be felt deeply by them all.

Yvonne’s funeral service will take place at The Crematorium in Macclesfield at 11.30am on Wednesday 17th December, followed by a wake at The Plough Inn in Eaton, to which all are welcome. Please wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.
