Peacefully within Ladyhome Cottage Hospital, Douglas, on Sunday 26th January, surrounded by his loving family, Ian William Overend Johnston, aged 87 years.
Beloved brother, uncle and friend to many, who will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Ian's funeral will be held on Thursday 13th February with a service at Douglas St.Bride's Church at 1pm, followed by a short service of committal within St. Catherine's Cemetery, Lanark at 2pm.
Those able are then welcomed to join the family at Douglas Victoria Bowling Club for refreshments.
A collection will be available at the church service for the Friends of Ladyhome Cottage Hospital Charity, who gave such care to Ian in his last days.
The family would like to thank all those who have shown love and sympathy at this sad time, it is very much appreciated.
