Our beloved Eileen Jane Ball passed away peacefully on 26th April 2025, aged 87, she will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
Eileen was born on 12th November 1937 in Kenton, Middlesex, but grew up in Kinsale in Ireland, before moving to Caterham to follow a long and caring career as a nurse at St. Lawrences Hospital. During her early nursing years, she met her husband James Thomas Ball (Tom) and they were married on 29th July 1963. They had a devoted, happy and loving marriage for 62-years living in Caterham.
Eileen is survived by her husband Tom, children Toni and Greg, grandchildren Holly, Kerry and Penny, and great grandchildren Robyn and Louis. She cherished her family time, generously giving her love, guidance, and support. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Eileen had a strong faith, which gave her comfort that she would join her brothers and sisters that passed before her.
