It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Lagden, aged 51, on 26th December 2025.
We would like to invite anyone who knew Daniel to join us for a memorial service at St John's Church, Harpenden followed by light refreshments in the church hall.
The service will be a joyful celebration of Daniel’s life and the happiness he shared with everyone who knew him. Please feel free to wear whatever feels right to you - there is no expectation for attendees to wear black.

Daniel spent 26 happy years in Harpenden Mencap's supported living accommodations, surrounded by friends and cared for by a wonderful team of staff and support workers who helped him live life to the fullest.
