Margaret died very peacefully, following a stroke from which she would never recover.
Her funeral will be a celebration of her 87 wonderful years, through words and through music - something that was a constant thoughout Margaret's whole life. She found so much joy in music, and through music Margaret brought joy to countless others.

We'll remember the love, laughter, fun, Margaret's wonderful caring nature, the passion in her feelings of right and wrong, social justice; her great strength of character through good and not-so-good times, and so much more.....

Everyone is welcome to join in that celebration; the service will begin at 12:15 on Friday, 28 February at Charing Crematorium, New Court Wood, Charing Ashford TN27 0EB. If you can, wear something turquoise or blue....
Please let Roger know if you will be attending at the chapel and/or the wake.

The service will also be webcast live, and then available soon afterwards for a further 28 days - please ask Roger for details of that.

Afterwards, all are welcome to The Hidden Treasure Micropub, 30 High St, Dymchurch TN29 0NU; hot food ( a choice of recipes that Margaret would enjoy ) will be available. There is a public car park close by.

In Margaret's memory, we are directly supporting the crew and volunteers at Littlestone Lifeboat Station.
So that your donation goes to the station directly, please avoid donating via the main RNLI webpages.(although that's fine if you can't find any other way - the cause is still worthy!).
