Charles passed away peacefully, at Sefton Hall in Dawlish on the 27th of April 2026, he was 93 years old.
Charles is much loved and will always be remembered by his friends and family. A life lived to the fullest from "The Garden of England", the beauty of Loe Bar, the mysteries of the Orient, and "England's best town".
"Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace ..... put out my hand, and touched the face of God."
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Charles, are invited to support the work of Alzheimer's Society, and may be made via the facility on this notice.
