It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Leslie Wakeling on Wednesday, 27 May 2026, following a long battle with dementia. He is now at peace.
John will be profoundly missed by his Wife, Children, Grandchildren, Family and Friends.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend a service to celebrate John's life on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, at 2:00pm at Breakspear Crematorium, East Chapel, Breakspear Road, Ruislip, HA4 7SJ.
In accordance with the John's wishes, the family kindly requests that mourners wear their Sunday best rather than traditional black attire. Uniforms are welcome.
Following the service, refreshments will be served at the home of Duncan and Zoe, where family and friends are invited to gather and share memories of John.
Family flowers only, please. Those wishing to do so may make a donation in memory of John to the Alzheimer's Society. Such donations will help support vital research and services for individuals and families affected by this devastating disease..
