Brian passed away peacefully on Tuesday 27th August at Quayside Nursing home. Brian was the loving companion of Fiona, husband of the late Margaret, father of David, Lesley and the late Ann, proud papa of Rachel, Ellie, Liberty, Maggie, Mitchell and Ben, brother of Jacqueline and father in law of Silvio and Shirley.
Brian was born in Kirkliston and moved to Glasgow when he joined the Strathclye Police where he served for over 25 years. He then continued a second career with ScotRail which he loved. Brian was known for his great sense of humour and continued to nurture many friendships throughout the years, which meant so much to him. Brian had a love for the outdoors, pipe bands, music, singing and anything related to his pride of being a Scotsman. Should you have had a question on anything related to Scotland and it's history he would give you the answer and a story! He will be greatly missed by his family and all the many friends who continued to visit and spend time with him up until his passing.
