It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Joyce Horton, also known as 'Chris', who left us at the age of 81 years on Thursday 27th August 2026. Chris will be remembered for her spirit, her devotion to those around her, and the many lives she touched with her warmth and kindness.
Chris's life was rich with love, laughter, and cherished memories that will remain in our hearts forever. Her legacy lives on through her loved ones and friends.
The committal service will take place on Tuesday 22nd September 2026 at 11:00 am at St Andrew's Major Community Cemetery followed by memorial service at Bethesda Baptist Church at 12:30 pm. The family invites attendees for light refreshments after the service at Bethesda Baptist Church.
Flowers welcome. Donations in lieu can be made to Dementia UK, an act of kindness in Chris's memory.
