It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra (Sandy) Hankin on Wednesday, 27th November 2024, at Priscilla Bacon Hospice, Norwich. Sandy was an extraordinary woman whose love, kindness, and zest for life touched everyone she met.
A devoted mother and adoring nanny, she was a source of endless joy and inspiration. Her grandchildren, Harry, Freya, Phoebe, and Poppy, were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in being their cherished “Yia Yia” and “Nanny Bug”. Her laughter and warmth filled every room, and her ability to brighten even the darkest days was unmatched.
Sandy was truly the life and soul of every gathering, bringing people together with her infectious humor and vibrant spirit. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel valued and loved, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
We take comfort in the many beautiful memories she created with family and friends and find solace in the thought of her incredible legacy of love and laughter. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Priscilla Bacon Hospice, whose exceptional care provided comfort and peace in her final days.
May she rest in eternal peace.
