It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Verwer, who left us peacefully at the age of 100 years on Saturday 27th December 2025 at Florence Justice Residential Home. Joan will be remembered for her spirit, her devotion to those around her, and the many lives she touched with kindness.
Beloved mother to the late Glyn Bevan, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and loved by all her extended family. Joan's life was rich with love, laughter, and cherished memories that will remain in our hearts forever. Her legacy lives on through the family and friends who hold her dearly.
The service will take place on Tuesday 27th January 2026 at 11:00 am at Langstone Vale Crematorium.
Flowers are welcomed; the donations can also be made to Alzheimer's Society and Dementia UK, an act of kindness in Joan's memory.
