Peacefully in her own home in Timperley, Greater Manchester aged 92 years. Delia O'Brien (nee Tolan) formerly of Garryroe, Kiltimagh, Co Mayo.
Delia will be sadly missed by her children Maureen & her husband Jamie, Gerard, Delia's grandson's Paul his partner Laura & Mark and his wife Liz and Delia's great - grandchildren William, Ruby, Zach, Fin & Bonnie and all nieces, and nephews, great nieces and nephews, family & close friends of many years and her good neighbours.
Delia was pre deceased by her loving husband Bill, her parents Kate and John Tolan, her brothers Joe and Jack also Manchester based and her sister Mai.
We thank you for all your kind messages of support and Mass intentions at this time. This is greatly appreciated by all the family. The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for all your intentions.
We hope as many of you as possible can join us at the Mass of thanksgiving in celebration of the life of Delia on Friday 16th February at St Hugh of Lincoln & St John's RC church, Timperley.
Delia was from Kiltimagh, Co Mayo, Ireland and the colour theme for the celebration is the "Green & Red" of Mayo. If you are able please try to wear anything Red or Green on the day to join with us ... anything at all a tie, a red scarf, a green jacket, a shamrock. If you can't don't worry, we are delighted to welcome you there.
